    Our customers in the packaging industry in Asia has been using us for procurement of wood products raw materials.  We focus primarily on softwood, specifically Southern Yellow Pine that is now increasingly being used by packaging companies in India. Our office in USA is focused on obtaining high quality SYP kiln dried lumber from lumber saw mills through out the US.

SYP Log Exports

Building on our track record in kiln-dried SYP lumber, Star International Trading is expanding into SYP log exports to meet growing demand from packaging manufacturers across India. We source logs directly from U.S. timberland and log suppliers, with additional sourcing from Canada and Europe, and ship via ocean freight in FCL container volumes.  We are targeting 100 containers per month volume by 2027 as we scale our log export capability alongside our existing lumber business.
